In an ever-changing digital world, the protection of personal data has become an absolute priority for companies in all sectors.
Conscio Technologies has developed an employee awareness program on personal data protection, in line with the requirements of the new European GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Article 39 of the GDPR defines the missions of the Data Protection Officer (DPO), including in particular:
“Monitoring compliance with this Regulation, other provisions of Union law or the law of the Member States on data protection… including with regard to the allocation of responsibilities, awareness-raising and training of staff involved in processing operations…”
In addition to regulatory obligations, it is crucial to raise awareness of data protection issues. The disclosure or misuse of such data can undermine individuals’ rights to privacy and freedom.
Conscio Technologies, in partnership with Examin, a specialist in digital compliance and personal data protection, have co-developed GDPR content geared to specific professions. Different professions within a company handle personal data on a daily basis, and require awareness-raising tailored to their specific issues.
Our GDPR awareness modules, broken down by function and business, include:
– Human resources
– Communication and marketing
– Purchasing and sales
– Information Systems Department (ISD)
A specific module is also available for accounting firms and statutory auditors.
These modules, presented in chatbot format, are designed to be both fun and entertaining. They are available in some fifteen languages, ensuring effective awareness-raising adapted to a wide audience.
We offer a data protection awareness course for everyone, including videos, interactive skits and quizzes. This fun and engaging format helps maximize the impact on GDPR-related knowledge and behavior.
The course consists of 13 “VideoQuizzes” dealing with a different aspect of the GDPR regulation. These 5-minute capsules, consisting of a 2-minute video followed by 2-3 quizzes, are designed to be effective in an awareness campaign. In particular, the VideoQuizzes cover:
– The principles of the Regulation
– The obligations and responsibilities of data controllers
– Individual rights
– The role of the DPO
In addition, short “Funny But Serious” videos deal humorously with incidents that may arise in the event of non-compliance with the GDPR.
